damn those are some pretty impressive power numbers this early in the year at a ballpark that is thought to be a pitchers park with that high fence. so sitka has 8 bombs already? juneau with 2. way to early to make anything significant of this but sounds like Conway has got that sitka lineaup juiced up and ready to make up for thin pitching.

    K town play anybody yet?

Kayhi has only played petersburg and wrangell, so we're not really sure how good they are yet. I think Wadley has a couple homers, Seibel and Allen both have one.
Kayhi swept Wrangell 3-0, and then sent a half jv, half varsity squad to Petersburg and went 2-1. I think Wadley was the only senior who went to Petersburg.

Could somebody post the results of the juneau-sitka-colony weekend??????

I am assuming that Juneau LOST their games there, as the online version of the Empire hasn't put any scores up yet. Typically the Empire does this when Juneau loses.

If anybdoy knows the scores and results, please post them.

Juneau, Sitka and Craig come to Ketchikan this weekend for a bunch of games. I'll post the results.

Both Sitka and Juno some years ago, pulled their Home plates at least 10 feet closer to the back stops to get the fences deeper. K-towns is the shortest down the lines but they do balloon the movable fences out towards mid field. All their fields play short, Juno may play deepest, Sitka next and Ketchikan shortest. Unless Sitka moved their score shack and all back a couple years ago. When Juno and Sitka moved plates back, they may have created a deeper park but this made scoring on the passed ball more difficult. If I was pitching in either Sitka or Juno, I would be more apt to throw the hook with a man on 3rd, without the fear of dirt ball scoring a run. I personally prefer a batter to be able to sit fast ball in that situation, but that is based on a deeper backstop. And that is why a man on third is an asset to the man at the plate, batter can sit phat.

sitka's fences are a good 4 feet higher than both k town and juneau and u would be suprized at how big of an impact that has, seen WAY too man hit the top of the fence and not go out.

hahaha u know whats funny, we arent even in high school anymore and we are arguing about wiffleball on akpreps hahaha. but anyways, id say dangle matches u in every category in wiffleball exept maybe hitting which id say dangle still has some strong games. As for hs baseball...who cares...i mean u only had like 12 years of practice more then him.but no worries, dangle will seeya out on the green.
-dangle out like s.o.u. crew in the playoffs
